This degree project is based on the implementation of an interactive book. It should be noted that an interactive book is a tool that has a variety of elements, which individuals can interact with, whether videos, multimedia images, concepts, audios, slides, activities to work within it, this tool will be used as a pedagogical resource through the implementation of comprehension strategies and application of logical reasoning to strengthen the teaching of mathematics. This research has a population of 144 students, with an experimental group from third B with 38 students, and a control group from third A with 37 students, giving us an interpretive paradigm with a mixed approach, the method used was participant observation, interview, survey, documentary review, field diaries, a pretest and a posttest. The interactive book was developed by the researchers on a digital platform called kotobee autor, in which useful information for students was placed, which contains concepts, videos, images, developed exercises, practical exercises and bibliographies, thus forming a book of five topics, main elements found in unit 2 of the Ministry of Education book, young people interacted with this tool from another application called kotobee Reader, in which they can modify the concepts and multimedia material as they understand the topic, thus being a book that meets the educational needs of each student, having favorable research results based on the ratings after the implementation of the study proposal.

The present research, titled “Exploratory Study of a Significant Educational Practice in Health Education Learning for Young People and Adults in the Canton of Chambo, Province of Chimborazo - Ecuador (2023-2024)”, analyzes an educational practice implemented in a rural context to promote self-care and medication management among older adults and young people. The objective is to characterize, identify, evaluate, and analyze the pedagogical strategies that have facilitated health learning, providing tools to improve health education in rural areas. Through a qualitative approach, semi-structured interviews, document review, and case analysis were used to explore a significant educational practice. The research is framed within the theories of Paulo Freire’s popular education and community participation, highlighting the empowerment of participants and their active role in managing their health. The results indicate that the use of simple language, visual tools, and innovative strategies significantly contributed to the understanding and application of self-care concepts. Additionally, challenges such as cognitive barriers, low educational levels, and geographical limitations that affect access to health services were identified. Finally, this research provides recommendations to optimize health education programs in Chambo and suggests the integration of health education into the EPJA curriculum. The findings can serve as a basis for improving public health policies aimed at rural communities with similar characteristics.

Creating suitable environments for students with hearing impairments is essential to facilitate their interaction within the educational setting and promote meaningful learning. This research focuses on the question: How can receptive language be strengthened in a hearing-impaired student from Classroom 2 of the Nicolás Vásquez Special Education Unit? The primary objective is to design learning environments that enhance the receptive language of the student H.V. The theoretical foundation addresses aspects related to hearing impairment, receptive language, and the learning environment, highlighting that the development of vocabulary and language comprehension is crucial for the student to interact effectively in everyday situations. This optimizes her understanding of concepts and enables her to follow instructions. The research adopts a hermeneutic-interpretive paradigm with a qualitative approach that aligns with the observed reality. The case study method was used, applying data collection techniques such as observation guides, interviews, and field diaries, which were essential in identifying trends. To validate the proposal, specialists were consulted who confirmed that the work meets the student's needs and only requires minimal adjustments. In conclusion, the design of inclusive learning environments will not only increase the student's knowledge but also improve her information acquisition and optimize her interaction within the educational setting, constituting a relevant, necessary, and innovative proposal.

This research is based on creating connection networks between hospital teachers in Education Zone 6. This problem arises from the observation of hospital teachers, who work in a hermetic and isolated manner without generating any type of connection between them. This problem arises from the observation of the work of hospital teachers, who perform their work in a hermetic and isolated manner. To respond to this problem, the following research question is posed: How to establish teaching learning communities for the generation of inclusive education in hospital contexts? After considering this research question, the following general objective is established: Create a professional learning community for the generation of inclusive hospital education in Education Zone 6. The category used in this work is the professional learning community. The research is based on a socio-critical paradigm, a qualitative approach and the method was based on action research. In this work, research techniques such as the focus group and the semi-structured interview were used. According to the techniques applied, the instruments used were: question guide, semi-structured interview guide and questionnaire. The results obtained were examined using the triangulation technique and, as a result of the analysis, a professional learning community is proposed to promote inclusive education in hospital contexts in Education Zone 6, By establishing this community, the interconnection between teachers will be promoted through dialogue and the exchange of knowledge. This improves teaching performance by encouraging professional development and strengthening collaborative and cooperative work. Thus, an inclusive education that meets the needs of hospitalized students is achieved.

The Math Teaching-Learning process (PEAM in Spanish) is an important topic for educational research since it allows to point the needs and constraints that students can have in their learning process. Therefore, the need to solve the issues that children may have becomes urgent. The following research aims to support PEAM in students through Game-Based Learning (ABJ in Spanish) as a didactic strategy. To achieve this, a theoretical framework was created to support this research. The Mexican author Velasco, proposed games as a strategy to improve PEAM in children with hearing impairment (DA in Spanish) since they allow students to better perform. Similarly, Illescas et al. supports the idea of teaching Math through games. This research took part in Unidad Educativa de Educación Especial “Claudio Neira Garzón.” It is based on a sociocultural paradigm with a qualitative approach and a case study design, with fifth grade students who have DA. The techniques and instruments used were field diaries, observation lists, and interview guides. Participative observation and documentary review allowed to diagnose another main category of the teaching-learning process of students with DA. In addition, the analysis and interpretation of the results were done through triangulation. It was found that students have a deficit in basic Math concepts. Using these results, the researchers planned and designed a guide based on ABJ as a didactic strategy as a means to solve the aforementioned issue.
