Abstract
The present investigation is derived from an intervention process carried out during the pre-professional practice in a school in Cuenca, with the students of the 7th grade B. The shortcomings in the production of written texts were identified, which originated the program "Writing in action: Didactic mediators for the production of texts "applied during the cycle (April19 / July19). The objective of the investigation was to evaluate the effectiveness of the program to contribute to the production of texts. The investigation has a qualitative approach using textual analysis by codes that includes a structuring of the data used to generate graphs of useful representation. The instruments to be used are the text writing test (TWT), observation log and interview through a focus group. As a general result it was obtained that the students got a satisfactory level in the writing of texts (increase in the development and the quality of the production) reason why it was concluded that the REA program was effective. This responds to the goal that the use of educational mediators stimulates dialogue and the construction of more efficient learning situations towards writing.
