Estrategias metodológicas basadas en la gamificación para mejorar la enseñanza de las operaciones con números decimales.

Abstract
Mathematics is present in all aspects of the existence of the human being, how in our daily and academic life, because the arithmetic operations serve to understand our environment and allow us to communicate objectively. These operations are established in function of algorithms that take as inputs the different sets of numbers. According to the experience, we can indicate that the work with the decimal numbers presents difficulties, with respect to the abstract - concrete relation, resolution of mathematical operations, among others. On the other hand, we find students with negative perceptions of learning mathematics. In this sense, we proposed to implement methodological strategies based on gamification to improve the teaching of operations with decimal numbers. Which is based on translate elements of a game to the classroom, with the objective of achieve motivation and meaningful learning. The investigation was developed in the 5o year "A" of E.G.B of the Educational Unit "La Inmaculada", in the city of Cuenca. It had a qualitative approach, with an action research method, for helped to understand the reality and contribute with an alternative solution. At the end of the implementation of the proposal, we obtained positive results, because the students, mostly, understood everything about the decimal numbers and were protagonists of the construction of knowledge. Then, gamification helps to the students to acquire skills such: self-knowledge, understanding and motivation, leaving aside attitudes of boredom or boredom before learning mathematics.
