Abstract
This work refers to a project that is carried out with children from the province of Tucumán, Argentina. It addresses the importance of incorporating the teaching of the microbial world from the initial level, as a fundamental pillar of health, which allows to learn about bacterial resistance to antibiotics and the importance of a balanced diet from an early age. The aim is to promote healthy eating during childhood as a basis for quality health and the upkeep of Mother Earth. The Educational Saddlebag and the Child to Child Strategy, adapted to the youngest students, contribute to the project through the development of actions and tools that motivate the promotion of health and recognize the importance of every living being on the planet, including those that are invisible to our eyes. Learning by playing, experimenting and building knowledge collectively favors the development of perceptual skills, of expression that are materialized in drawings, models and direct experiences, such as the making of yogurt, which allows for the introduction of the students to the early stages of inquiry, the microbial world and the concept of foods that heal, playfully motivating the students through the proposed activities. The methodology is qualitative; it seeks to strengthen creativity and oral expression, with the aim of empowering the students in an educommunicative role as promoters of a comprehensive concept of health. As a conclusion, this study hopes to contribute to the development of a concept of health, the microbial world and foods that heal, producing in both boys and girls the possibility of being active protagonists, who can strenghten their knowledge about the microbial world and share it with their peers.
