Abstract
The present investigation Entitled "Stimulation of fine motor skills through Reggio Emilia pedagogy in infants aged 4 to 5 years in the Sayausí Millennium Educational Unit", had as a general objective to propose a guide with playful activities that stimulate fine motor skills through pedagogy. of Reggio Emilia in infants from 4 to 5 years of the initial sublevel 2 "A" in the Sayausí Millennium Educational Unit, Cuenca-Ecuador. This was theoretically based on two categories, the first fine motor skills and the second Reggio Emilia pedagogy, authors such as Ospina, Ramírez, Macias, Pachón, Correa and Estrella were taken into account. For this study, the socio-critical paradigm was implemented as a methodology with a qualitative approach and type of research action. Participatory observation, interview and survey were presented as techniques, while the checklist, field diary, interview guide and questionnaire were used as instruments. In the same way, the educational intervention proposal was developed, implemented, valued and socialized, the results of which were the acquisition of skills and fine motor skills in children, in addition to the development of their social, cognitive and emotional capacities. through the application of playful and innovative activities. To conclude, the research question was answered through the general objective of contributing to the stimulation of the fine motor area through the principles of Reggio Emilia pedagogy.
