Abstract
This article attests the results obtained in the research project Epistemic Beliefs and Emotions Experienced by Education Students at Universidad Nacional de Educación (UNAE) when Producing Academic Texts. This research was carried out with 320 education students from current careers at UNAE, who were randomly selected, between the periods September 2020 and October 2021. Procedurally, three phases were developed: (1) evocations identification for the construction of semantic networks, (2) emotional contact, and (3) psychoeducational assessment. The study carried out revealed the epistemic beliefs associated with the production of meanings in the genres of academic discourse that education students use, analyze the epistemic emotions associated with their production of meanings, and reveal the variations observed in the predominant epistemic beliefs and emotions.
