Abstract
This Curriculum Integration Work was realized through the experience of Pre-professional Practices in the UEIB "Chimborazo Province", located in the San Juan de Bellavista community, in the city of Ambato. We carried out the practices virtually, from May 14 to July 10, 2020, accompanied by the third grade teacher María Guachamboza, who at that time had 31 students and 4 were Venezuelan. In the Practices of the following cycle, we decided to continue our work together with the teacher María, but this time with another group of students in a different grade: the 2nd year of EGB, with 22 students, 2 of them were Venezuelan. These practices were carried out from May 24 to June 11, 2021, they were carried out virtually and in person. The general objective was to develop intercultural competences (UNESCO, 2017) on these students, through the design of a virtual Corner of Intercultural Learning, as an active pedagogical strategy, which involved the use of videos on: festivities, rituals, clothing, gastronomy, music, language, customs, etc., from the two cultures (Kichwa and Venezuelan), present in the classroom. The virtual cultural corner was designed through a blog with various activities developed jointly with the teacher, students and their parents, using various digital tools and applications such as: Power Point, Prezi, InShot, among others. All these collaborative co-design activities were carried out through the Zoom and WhatsApp platform. By working through these platforms, we were able to observe the difficulties that the students had, because most of them had not internet at home: several times they connected through a balance that they enter on their parents' cell phones to be able to surf the internet, but despite this, we were able to reach all students.
