Abstract
The present research focuses on the use of recycled didactic material as a teaching and learning resource in the infants of sub-level 2 C of the Luis Cordero Early Education Center, since it was evidenced that they lack implementation of recycled didactic material in activities for teaching the area of Logical/Mathematical Relationships, for the above mentioned, it was written as an objective to implement a system of activities that contribute with the use of recycled didactic material in the notion number quantity and writing of the number. Theoretically, the named area was approached in reference to the Early Education Curriculum (2014) indicating the importance of fostering interest in learning the notions of this area, in order to strengthen their logical reasoning. In addition, various projects will be considered, such as Brissolese (2017), who makes known that didactic materials are part of the infants' learning, as it allows them to foster their creativity and strengthen their reasoning, Freire and Ortega (2016) were also considered establishing that recycled didactic materials should be manipulable and above all non-hazardous so that the infant can experiment. The methodology was carried out within a socio-critical paradigm, the case study was used, with a qualitative approach. In addition, instruments such as: observation guide and interview script used in the diagnosis were developed. Finally, the research contributed in the initial 2 "C", because the result was that the use of recycled didactic materials benefits the learning of children, since the infants are interested in making connections with the resources, being effective because improvements are produced in the mentioned skills of the Logical/Mathematical Relationships area, on the other hand this is a support and orientation for the teachers, because they are motivated to use recycled materials to create different learning crafts. In conclusion, a system of activities titled “Interacting with my friends with numbers” was presented, in which the progress and concentration of each child could be noted and how they paid attention when receiving instructions, we can even say that their curiosity and enthusiasm was seen for continually participating in the materials produced.
