Abstract
This research focuses its object of study on the development of social skills in people with Cerebral Palsy, in such a way that it allows interaction with other people and can function in the surrounding environment. Situation aggravated by the effects of the pandemicsuch as loss of empathy, lack of interest in talking and interacting with friends. Therefore, the research question is: How to develop the social skills of a student with cerebral palsy in the social functional classroom 2 at the Institute of Cerebral Palsy of Azuay? and the general objective is: Propose a system of activities based on gamification for the development of social skills in a child with cerebral palsy from the social functional classroom 2 at the Cerebral Palsy Institute of the Azuay. The present investigation is based on the qualitative approach in which the method in which it is sustained is through the case study of a student with Cerebral Palsy. The category of analysis in this study is social skills. In addition, various techniques and instruments were applied for data collection such as: participant observation, in-depth interview, documentary analysis and data triangulation. Through these techniques it will be possible to obtain the necessary information to respond to the problem. A system of activities based on Gamification will be designed to develop social skills in the student; so that they help the understanding of action, commucation, affectivity, emotions, as well as exchange with classmates, teachers, family through playful activities and images.
