Abstract
In order to decipher the meaning and function of advertising texts, it is necessary to know the elements and how they are related in the social and cultural context of the community, the didactic unit proposed creating an advertising text of daily life in the form of a triptych, to favor the development of the levels of literal and inferential comprehension with the students of the ninth year of Basic Education of the School of Basic Education "Federico Proaño Márquez". The limitations found in the lines of action of this work are many, therefore, it is evident that it is a material that has wide range of pedagogical possibilities, they offer a linguistic and communicative example that makes it a very easy material to use in several educational levels, it is useful to work with very varied contents and promotes the development of competences. It is suggested to visualize the latest trends in advertising texts to improve them.
