Abstract
The present work of Design and Implementation of the Didactic Unit entitled The Natural Regions, had like objective To compare the natural division of the Ecuador with its territorial division in function of establishing concordances or inconsistencies for the development of the country, with the purpose that the students have full knowledge of the geographical conformation of Ecuador, identifying and forming a relationship of attachment to its roots. The results of this Didactic Unit were satisfactory, since the students had in general a great participation and collaboration with regard to the seen and designed in class, allowing to articulate the contents in a systematic, orderly and synthesized way through the analysis of the transitions of political, territorial and administrative order in each of the Regions. In conclusion, once analyzed the diversity of our country, it is a duty as a teacher to instruct students through active practices in the classroom, to develop a logical, critical and creative thinking.
