Abstract
The research was carried out during the preprofesional practices corresponding to the ninth cycle of EB’s career, which were developed in the Educational Unit La Inmaculada located in the parish of Monay of the city of Cuenca, in the sixth year of EGB. Moreover, this investigation was carried out with the aim of: Design a system of activities that encourages meaningful learning in students of the sixth year of Basic General Education of the La Inmaculada Educational Unit in the area of Natural Sciences, through the virtual platform Kahoot. In addition, the methodology used to develop research is based on the same critic who studies a reality from the point of view of practice and theory to seek to improve or transform it by the incidence of proposals or changes that are significant within the studied reality. A qualitative and quantitative approach was also employed through the study of both numerical and characteristic data, to enable us to understand the object of study with the support of the techniques and data collection tool applied to the population characterized by 38 students. At the end of this research, significant learning in students was encouraged, by fulfilling the performance criteria established in the national curriculum and reflected in the development of the teaching unit number five: Transformations of the subject and energy. Similarly, the implementation of technological resources linked to ICTs was achieved, which will generate significant learning spaces.
