Abstract
This research was carried out in the fourth year of basic general education of the Bilingual Intercultural Community Educational Center Inti Raymi located in the community of Las Lagunas, Saraguro in the province of Loja. The purpose of this research was to determine the mathematical and ethnomathematics knowledge of Las Lagunas community for teaching and learning of basic math operations through the learning environment Ñukapa Ayllukatuna Wasi (My community store). Qualitative research makes it possible and had used collection tools which are: participle observations, semistructured interviews and the final evaluation. The research participants were 14 students of Systematization stage between 7 and 8 years old. The innovation proposal consisted in the design and implementation of the learning environment for the mathematics, furthermore, we incorporated a culture practice ‘Trueque’ and the ethnomathematic knowledge (non-conventionally measures). The results of this research establish as non-conventionally measures as the miklla and wapi even we realized contextually activities with own material of the community. The final evaluation had a positive assessment with the learning of the mathematics operations since the ethnomathematic knowledge of the community and the school context.
