Abstract
This document studies the importance of generating new didactic strategies within learning, in addition to raising the management of didactic strategies within the area of mathematics, something that has not been visualized or recorded in the observation instruments in the Educational Unit. "April 16" from the city of Azogues. This work is based on the identification of resources and strategies with which geometry classes are developed, with text being the main resource used. The data analyzed suggests that students show little interest in the area of mathematics, which produces distraction and no active participation. For this, an innovative strategy is described: the game, which will serve to facilitate the teaching-learning process with the support of concrete didactic material where students obtain new experiences and where the teaching-learning process is improved, for this a methodology was used of exploratory research with a qualitative approach, facilitating the obtaining of results through different methods and applied instruments, the same ones that detailed certain needs and problems and later by applying the strategy applied with the students to achieve the respective solution, obtaining positive results in the same, giving way to the fulfillment of the objectives.
