Abstract
During the development of Education in Ecuador, new methods and techniques have been sought every day to strengthen and enhance the development of the Teaching-Learning process, integrating new methods and techniques to the educational and social context. Well, this research is an example of such integration, as it seeks to present and apply the methodology of Project Based Learning and integrate it into community and cultural settings and environments of indigenous schools. This methodology has been applied at international and national level, always adapting to the environment where it is applied, as can be seen in the background exposed during this work. The study was developed at the "Inti Raymi" Bilingual Intercultural Community Educational Center located in the city of Saraguro, in the area of Basic Education (4th, 5th and 6th year of EB) together with 2 teachers of the Institution and under a qualitative approach . Likewise, the data collection techniques and instruments used were: participant observation with field diaries, surveys and semi-structured interviews. The methodology was proposed through activities under the ABP modality developed in community and cultural settings and environments
