Abstract
This research focuses on advising the manager, in the design of an accompaniment plan for the monitoring and evaluation of curricular planning taking into account the Dr. Tomás Rendón Educational Unit belonging to the Canton La Troncal. The objective is to advise the manager, in the design of an accompaniment plan for the planning, monitoring and evaluation of the curricular planning of the Natural Sciences area of the Baccalaureate level. For the development of the research, the theoretical foundations related to educational advice in Ecuador are studied, then the diagnosis of the management's advisory needs is made applying different research methods, techniques and instruments: first, an interview is conducted with the manager to Know how to apply the processes of monitoring and evaluation of curricular planning, then a survey is applied to BGU teachers of natural sciences and then a documentary review of the PCI, PCA and PUD is carried out to verify if they comply with the guidelines established by the Ministry of Education. With the results obtained, the actions of the advisory plan are designed for the manager to prepare the accompaniment plan, which allows him to monitor and evaluate the curricular plans. Finally, the feasibility of the advisory proposal is evaluated with the application of an interview and the revision of the support plan. Based on this information, the conclusions of the project are determined, focused on the importance of counseling to improve educational processes.
