Abstract
The present research work has the purpose of promoting educational inclusion taking care of the diversity in the boys and girls of Basic General Education. The claim of the study favors this inclusion process through cooperative learning, to overcome the deficiencies observed in the development and effectiveness of the process, for this methodological strategies were implemented that allowed interaction and acceptance among the student group. The context selected for the deployment of the investigative actions was the "Juan Bautista Vázquez" Educational Unit, located in the city of Azogues. The unit of analysis was the 5th grade group, parallel “B”, made up of 40 students. The work, approached from a qualitative paradigm, was designed following the precepts of "participatory action research", with an exploratory / descriptive scope. Based on a previous diagnosis, an intervention proposal is presented that includes different activities to promote educational inclusion through cooperative learning. It was considered that this methodology contributes to responding to the diversity of the students and constitutes an ideal way to lay the foundations of inclusive education as an enriching element in the educational process.
