Abstract
Traditional teaching turns out not to be enough for the acquisition of significant knowledge in the area of Social Studies, and less in a time like the present, in which the development of classes is virtual. Therefore, the objective of this research work is to determine virtual learning environments that allow activating the teaching-learning process of the subject of Social Studies in Block number 2 "The school and my companions", in the 2nd year of EGB of the Corel Private Educational Unit. The research methodology has a qualitative approach, with a socio-critical paradigm, instruments such as the interview, observation and theoretical review are used to collect information and carry out the analysis. The proposal consists of the creation of a possible Virtual Learning Environment that can be used for the development of Social Studies classes within unit number 2 and seeks to improve the dynamics of teaching and learning. In the end, the conclusions obtained are based on the results obtained throughout this investigation.
