Abstract
This research project entitled Van Hiele Model to develop learning activities of the unit "trigonometric ratios" in tenth B of the Republic of Ecuador Educational Unit, is conceived during pre-professional practices observing the lack of innovative learning activities for the Unit of Trigonometric ratios. This research aims to design learning activities based on the Van Hiele model. For this, it has been necessary to follow a logical process that involves diagnosing the activities that take place during the unit, theoretically base the pedagogical models (Traditional, Behavioral and Constructivist) carried out and the generalities of the learning activities, as well as the model of Van Hiele, and validate the proposal raised under professional criteria under professional criteria. Theoretically, pedagogical models such as the traditional, behaviorist and constructivist were addressed. Also, the fundamental aspects of the learning activities were covered to later talk about the Van Hiele model and its 5 levels of learning. Methodologically the research has a socio-critical paradigm, an exploratory research and a mixed approach through the use of theoretical and empirical methods. For this, analysis-synthesis, observation, interviews, surveys and test techniques were used. And as instruments bibliographic review sheets (N / A), field diaries, interview guide, questionnaire and a diagnostic test. Finally, a qualitative and quantitative evaluation of the proposal was carried out by three professionals. For this, a checklist is used that evaluates the different moments of a class and the aspects of the activities of the Van Hiele model and its 5 levels of learning. This validation were 8 criteria established for the validation of the professionals
