Abstract
The away design as a learning environment arises from research work with first-year students in the stage of insertion to the semiotic processes (ISP) of the Bilingual Intercultural Community Educational Unit Guardian of Language and Ancestral Knowledge (UECIB) “Tupak Yupanki”, where the pre-professional immersion practices of the eighth cycle of the Intercultural Bilingual Education (IBE) major took place. It is proposed as an alternative to understand and mitigate the inadequate implementation of the Modelo del Sistema de Educación Intercultural Bilingüe (MOSEIB) in the ISP stage, from which two problems arise: disarticulation of local and teaching-learning process knowledge; and the use of teaching resources unrelated to the community context. It responds to the need to generate educational experiences that articulate knowledge and didactic resources of the community context in students of the ISP stage of the school. For this, this research was based on the qualitative interpretive approach, which allowed to decipher and understand situations, interactions, attitudes, and behaviors of the research subjects; and the registered documentary compilation, which was the basis for the proposal. For data collection, the use of participant observation, a semi-structured interview, and a focus group were used. The results obtained were: a) The educational experience approximates an adequate implementation of the MOSEIB; b) Establish self-knowledge sharing; c) Integrate authentic elements from the context; d) Encourage the development of integrated content.
