Abstract
At the high school sublevel, the field of mathematical logical relationships plays a fundamental role in the development of competencies in the child, involving not only mathematics but also interdisciplinarity. In this sense, knowing and applying the GeoGebra tool becomes a necessity for teachers at this level, since it stimulates educational practice and encourages playful and innovative learning scenarios. This article analyzes the level of knowledge and perceptions of teachers regarding the pedagogical functionality of GeoGebra, as an innovative tool that enables the approach to geometry and measurement, with boys and girls in the first year of basic general education. For this, a descriptive qualitative study was carried out using two surveys divided into three categories. The results obtained show an important advance in the perception of teachers, regarding the use of the tool to strengthen the professional work within the classroom and, in turn, the development of skills with performance criteria of children of this sub-level.
