El software GeoGebra como recurso para la enseñanza de la Integral definida: Una propuesta didáctica

Abstract
This work shows the results obtained from a didactic experience with the students of Mathematics of the third year of the General Unified Baccalaureate of the President Jaime Roldos Educational Unit of the canton La Troncal-Ecuador, during the 2019-2020 school year. In this experience, the GeoGebra software was used as a resource for teaching the subject of definite integrals. The methodology applied during the research is quantitative with a descriptive approach, the research variables are the motivation that was measured with a perception survey and the knowledge acquired that was measured through a knowledge test.
The main conclusions indicate that using the GeoGebra software favors the understanding of the concepts of the definite integral in students, since it allows them to better visualize the process carried out, which
increases the motivation to learn this complex subject of mathematics. These results show that the GeoGebra Software is a useful tool for teaching especially in these moments in which, due to the pandemic caused by Covid, virtual education prevails in all educational institutions in the country.
