Abstract
The present research work was carried out in the 1st year of EGB of the Educational institute "Luis Cordero" of the city of Azogues, province of Cañar. This study focuses on the difficulties that students present to carry out various actions in the area of psychomotor skills and the implementation of graphoplastic techniques and dance as a solution to this problem. The psychomotricity is an important part for the development of skills and for the learning process of children. Therefore, to carry out this work, we focused on the qualitative approach and the Participatory Action Research which were used to transform educational practice from the diagnosis. The techniques and instruments that were implemented were the following: participant observation, field diaries, questionnaire, and Picq and Vayer psychomotor examination. The information obtained through these instruments was contrasted by means of a triangulation of data, to obtain the veracity and reliability of the investigation. To solve this problem, an activity guide focused on graphoplastic techniques and a dance was developed to improve the students' psychomotor skills. These activities were implemented, evaluated and validated as a means that contributes to the strengthening of the psychomotor profile, through a Checklist.
