Abstract
This Curricular Integration Work addresses the issue of ancestral knowledge about childbirth, considering the experiences of midwives and parturients in the Chibuleo community. It is necessary that in the teaching-learning process in Intercultural Bilingual Education, the experiences of the community in which are included teachers and students participation, taking into account the curricular integration of these topics. This project was worked with a qualitative approach in which the social reality, also it was used the participatory action research to incorporate the parts in the reflection of the problem, with the purpose of facilitating the incorporation of the knowledge associated with the pregnancy and childbirth in the curriculum of MOSEIB Kichwa in unit 75 of ECA of the tenth grade parallel "A" of the “Unidad Educativa del Milenio Guardiana de la Lengua Chibuleo”. The technique used was the interview and participant observation. To clarify the factors associated with pregnancy and birth, it was important to describe all the processes and concepts used by the actors involved in the process. From this information we propose to integrate this knowledge, so we can be able to design didactic resources such as a video on the subject and Microcurricular planning for unit 75 of ECA, which allow us to share the knowledge and management of information leaving it open to the public so that they have access to them. The results indicate that it is possible to integrate ancestral knowledge into the curriculum.
