Abstract
The teaching-learning of musical interpretation is governed by a type of education called “conservatory model” where the teacher teaches a model of interpretation and the student has a passive role and of imitation of the model. On the contrary, the statute of the National University of La Plata establishes the need to develop an active student, researcher, capable of making decisions with their own criteria. It is understood that the conservatory model cannot inhabit university classrooms where music is taught. In order to develop a university proposal, the following objective is formulated: to develop theoretical frameworks and propose concepts that can support a teaching-learning process of musical interpretation under university guidelines. From a bibliographic investigation in the theoretical fields of communication, semiotics, linguistics and music, the concepts of “musical text”, “textualization process” and “musical interpretation project” are developed. These concepts allow to raise the educational process in accordance with the requirements of the university and glimpse a possible role of active student. It is concluded that the teachinglearning process of musical interpretation can be framed in university guidelines.
