Abstract
Within the popular music studies, there are emphasized sound recording and connotative relations of popular artistic musical manifestations during the last century in Ecuador. It is noticed that popular expressions dynamics keep distance from production and studies of central-Europe based music: from its characteristical perpetuation form through its unformal transmission in family dynasties, passing through indirect public regulation based on aesthetic results, and synergy between market and its product relations with mass consumption. The context establishes a filter like a genetic algorithm that allowed modes of interpretation with an accentuated load of expressiveness and an emotive response in the aesthetic perception on the part of the public. This study is focus on some recordings of interpretations consecrated by popular taste, and using a multisensory analysis done with Sonic Visualizer program, an artistic research has been carried out though the analysis of the characteristics of those interpretations. Invisible and elusive characteristics to the fixation in traditional writing, but present in the audible and related to the microtonal sonority and the emotive aesthetic perception.
