Abstract
Based on the knowledge and experiences acquired in the pre-professional practices, fundamentally carried out in the eighth and ninth semesters, it was determined that the development of the essential language and literature skills were not achieved correctly due to time, connectivity, absence and ignorance of the learning process. teaching-learning in the virtual modality. The purpose of this research project is to design a learning environment that helps to enhance the development of the essential skills of oral communication, reading and writing in the tenth-year students of the "Ignacio Escandón" educational unit. For this, a research methodology was used with a qualitative approach under the socio-critical paradigm, which allowed identifying, understanding and transforming the educational reality. Among the data collection techniques and instruments are: field diary, participant observation, interview, work diary; the analysis of the results is based on data triangulation. During the pre-professional practices, the low participation and motivation of the students and the scarce use of active methodologies by the teacher were observed, which negatively affects the development of skills. For this reason, a learning environment based on active methodologies (ABD, Simulation, PBL) was designed to promote the development of essential skills that were not achieved during the COVID 19 pandemic. After the design of the proposal, validation was sought by experts from the learning environment, resulting in the proposed system of activities being pertinent to achieve the stated objective.
