Abstract
With blended learning in regular and special basic education schools, with a pandemic in between, the main problems that have arisen during virtuality have become visible, in addition, we must not forget the deficits present in students with disabilities that have been aggravated during virtual classes. In view of these problems, it has been decided to work on solutions for the improvement and stimulation of those disabilities that represent an educational problem to be addressed from strategies and methodologies that provide such a solution. For this reason, the objective of this work is to propose an Alternative Communication System (SAAC), for the contribution of non-verbal communication of a child with Infantile Cerebral Palsy (ICP by its Spanish acronym) of the Unidad Educativa Especializada "Manuela Espejo". It will serve as a support to the process of a communication and social skill of a student of this educational institution by means of a didactic board, which contains a system of pictograms and activities designed for extracurricular and classroom work. Therefore, this work is based on a qualitative approach, exploratory research and has a basic scope, with different techniques and instruments of data collection: in-depth interviews, conducted with the student's family and teacher; field diary as a result of a participant observation during the pre-professional practices; documentary review, and a collection of physical-cognitive tests applied to the child.
