Abstract
In the present research work, key aspects based on the emotional development of children from 3 to 4 years of age in early education sub-level 2 of the Manuel J. Calle educational unit were addressed. The objective was to stimulate emotionally children from 3 to 4 years old through the play-work methodology using a didactic guide for parents and teachers. In addition, the starting point was the consideration of the basic emotions at this stage, as well as the description of some concepts about emotional development at a neurological level, the influence of Neuro didactics in this field. Other topics were also adopted, such as the aspects of emotional development from which other conceptions that give relevance to this research are derived. Likewise, the role of teachers and parents in the emotional development of children was emphasized. These contents arose from a problem posed and mediated by observation, noting difficulties in the emotional development of children, where there have been manifestations such as: angry, stressed children, presenting little participation and concentration. This study was based on an action research with a mixed approach, where an analysis of emotional development was carried out using qualitative (field diary, interview, participant observation) and quantitative (survey, MPAC checklist) instruments. Interpreting the data, a didactic guide with information and activities for teachers and parents was proposed, resulting in the importance of the stimulation of emotions in the teaching-learning process of infants.
