Abstract
The management of outreach community projects constitutes a challenge for the university community in the search for the betterment of its strategies. Universidad Nacional de Educación (UNAE) holds the pedagogical philosophy of “learning and service” and seeks to promote actions to strengthen relations with the community, particularly with vulnerable sectors. The objective of this research was to analyze the management of the outreach processes with the community at UNAE during the years 2019-2021. A documentary research on institutional regulations, management processes in programs and projects, and community service practices was applied, through analysis, synthesis and modeling. The main results show the importance of the processes for the efficient and effective management of the dimensions of planning, execution and results as proposed by the external evaluation model of universities and polytechnic schools from 2019.
