Abstract
In the present study called Artistic expression as a methodological strategy in the natural and cultural environment in 4-year-old children of the "F" parallel of the Centro de Education A.B.C. Azogues- Ecuador, its purpose is to contribute to the development of artistic expression of children in kindergarten through a learning experience. The research was theoretically supported for the development of artistic expression by authors such as Herbert Read, Jean Piaget, Gardner, as well as Waldorf Pedagogy. This project had a qualitative approach, with a socio-critical paradigm, applying a type of studying research alongside a field study with a research methodology that is Action Research. The technique used was the interview and the observation sheet and the instruments used were the observation sheet, the question guide and the field diary. The study realized allowed to recognized that the children performed few activities related to artistic expression and art, for this reason a learning experience was proposed, with a guide of 10 activities that contribute to the development of artistic expression. As a result, it was obtained that the implementation of the experience complied with the parameters of the proposed methodological framework, giving as conclusions that the proposed activities are an innovative methodological strategy, valid to intervene in the development of artistic expression for kindergarten children.
