Abstract
The present titling work arises from the analysis of institutional documents, such as the PUD, PEI, Curriculum (2016) and the results obtained from the pre-test carried out on the third-year students of EGB of the "Sayausí" Millennium Educational Unit. There it was possible to determine the lack of didactic resources that contributed to the teaching-learning process of literacy. This research is based on the socio-critical paradigm and its consequent qualitative approach in the line of research-action. The design of this proposal is created in order to improve the reading and writing skills of students, for which characteristics have been investigated are the skills with performance criteria that students have the most difficulties. So, in this case we take as reference the skills LL.2.4.7 and LL.2.2.5. It is for this reason that didactic resources are created with which the student will interact, create, imagine and narrate from their own creations. After the implementation of the proposal, the results obtained from the post test are evaluated and it is concluded considering that the didactic proposal designed and implemented has managed to develop reading and writing skills in the students of the third year EGB of the Educational Unit "Sayausí ”.
