Abstract
The project had the objective of creating environments for the development and strengthening of personal expression, social skills and emotional intelligence in students from 10 to 12 years of age of the San Luis Beltrán Educational Unit, through the application of activities related to theatrical game and educational music. For this, a specific methodology was implemented, having a qualitative approach with a design based on Action Research. During the Curricular Integration Work, the field journals were used for the documentation of information relevant to the investigation. In addition, a focus group was applied, the execution of two evaluation rubrics and a questionnaire for the development of a survey of the students. The population in which the work was focused had a total of 31 students, having a division during a segment of the project, of 18 for the theatrical game area and 12 for the musical education group; having a lack withdrawal. The main results obtained were on the environment focused only on the drawing branch with the focus group. In addition, positive results were obtained in student performance, as well as in their acceptance for the activities implemented. The main conclusion reached was that when students enter an environment of exploration in other artistic branches such as theater and music, they can satisfactorily develop their emotional intelligence and strengthen their social skills in the same way.
