Las estéticas culturales desde la comprensión de las máscaras: proyecto artístico para estudiantes del subnivel de Educación Básica Superior de la Unidad Educativa “Sayausí”

Abstract

This research is based on the diagnosis carried out in the pre-professional practices with tenth grade students of the "A" and "B" parallel of the Superior sub-level of General Basic Education of the "Sayausí" Educational Unit during the period IS-2023. In this work we give an answer to the central problem that became visible in the students, such as the lack of knowledge and appreciation of the aesthetics linked to the cultures. Therefore, the Curricular Integration Work (TIC) aims to awaken appreciation for the representative aesthetics of the heritage of various cultures: Saraguro, Hatun Cañar and Cañaris del Azuay, through the implementation of an artistic project with the development of masks. The methodology of this research has a qualitative approach; in which the data collection techniques used were participant observation, interview and semi-structured survey; the research subjects were 73 students. As for the results of the implementation of the art project, it allowed students to achieve the skill with performance criterion "ECA.4.3.15", which was validated according to the evaluation criterion of the corresponding level "CE.ECA.4.2". It is concluded that the Project Based Learning (PBL) that encompasses four workshops as part of the artistic project, allowed the creation of spaces for reflection and creativity that motivated the participation of students in the renewal of intangible cultural heritage, through the creation of cultural and artistic products such as masks, which favored the development of significant knowledge in the educational field.
