Abstract
The following research was conducted at the Emilio Abad School in the eighth grade classroom of EGB "A" in the city of Azogues, Ecuador. The problem is evident in the lack of motivation and the scarce collaborative work that exists in the learning process of students in the subject of Natural Sciences. The purpose of this research work was to improve the learning process of students in the subject of Natural Sciences by incorporating the Classdojo platform into classroom activities, which strengthened the training process of students. For the collection of data and its subsequent analysis, six techniques were used: an interview with the teacher to understand their perspective on the learning process; participant observation, which is reflected in the observation sheet; a documentary analysis using data triangulation. In addition, two surveys were used with students, one to measure their motivation and the other to understand the impact of Classdojo in the classroom, using two questionnaires. Finally, a pre-test was applied to identify the difficulties in the learning process of Natural Sciences and a post-test of similar structure to the previous one. The initial results of the research suggested that there was a learning problem in the Thematic Unit "Outer Space". However, after implementing the Classdojo platform as a learning strategy, the final results showed a significant improvement. This confirms that Classdojo is an effective tool to improve learning, as it generates a high degree of motivation and collaborative work among students.
