Abstract
The objective of this degree work is to analyze learning through the use of playful strategies that contribute to the learning of basic operations of the eighth grade students of Basic Education of the Luis Cordero Educational Unit, since in the given problem it was possible to identify that There is a great deficiency in mastery of content corresponding to basic and combined operations, which are fundamental and essential for correct learning and mastery of the exact sciences. The research is carried out under a type of quasi-experimental design and mixed approach that allows obtaining precise and exact results. The population consisted of 68 students from the eighth grade of Basic Education corresponding to parallels B and C who were investigated separately. Parallel B called the control group and parallel C as the experimental group. To collect information, we used different instruments such as the field diary, survey, interview and content tests (pretest and posttest), which made it possible to diagnose and evaluate the impact on learning after the didactic intervention. The recreational strategy was executed through various sessions such as: creation of activities, planning, implementation and evaluation of the results obtained. According to this, it is concluded that the playful strategy serves as a support tool for the teacher and at the same time fulfills the function of strengthening the learning process.
