Abstract
The present research is born from the pre-professional practices (PP) carried out in the ninth cycle of the Pedagogy of the Arts and Humanities degree with the eighth year of Higher Basic General Education of the Javier Loyola Educational Unit located in the city of Azogues. It proposes to generate a pedagogical booklet as a proposal for educational intervention, which aims to be a guide of activities to strengthen social skills through dance-theater, taking into account cooperative learning as a teaching-learning methodology. The research methodology has a qualitative approach, where an investigation is carried out that allows the understanding of socio-educational processes. The data collection techniques and instruments used are participatory observation and interviews; and instruments are field diaries and audiovisual recording. On the other hand, in this Curricular Integration Work (ICT) it was considered pertinent that the proposed activities be planned according to curricular block 2: The encounter with others: otherness, of the Cultural and Artistic Education curriculum, with the purpose of achieving Skills with Performance Criteria (DCD) essential to promote social skills (effective communication, conflict resolution, tolerance, teamwork, assertiveness and emotional intelligence) from a dance-theater scenic product. It is concluded that the cooperative learning applied in the planned microcurricular activities allowed the strengthening of social skills through the artistic discipline of dance theater, and that said work favored the improvement of coexistence and the classroom environment.
