Abstract
The present Curricular Integration Work (TIC) focuses on addressing the family- school relationship in the context of Basic Education (EB). The general objective is to strengthen the family-school relationship from the Language and Literature area in the fifth year. The main theoretical-conceptual axes are family-school continuity-discontinuity, the family-school relationship, and representations of family participation in the school. The research methodology is based on a qualitative approach, using the action-research method. Various techniques and instruments were applied to the research participants to understand their family perspectives and realities. To achieve the proposed objectives, the design, implementation, and evaluation of an activity guide is proposed from an approach that recognizes the diversities of existing families and their representations. This proposal has contributed to teachers recognizing the family realities present in their classrooms and working in collaboration with families to address the content of this topic from the diversity and realities of each student.
