Abstract
This Curricular Integration Work (TIC), called "Development of auditory discrimination through musical expression in initial 2 parallel F of the Early Education Center "María Montessori", had as an objective the creation of a playful activity booklet "The sound world of the little curious ones" focused on musical expression to develop auditory discrimination. The methodology used is a case study, an interpretative paradigm, and the qualitative approach.the techniques and instruments that were implemented to collect information were: participant observation, field diaries, semi-structured interview and the observation guide that provided valuable aspects to answer the research question. On the other hand, an educational intervention proposal was designed with activities to improve auditory discrimination through musical expression, focused on the qualities of sound and sound patterns. Consequently, the validation by piloting allowed us to evaluate its effectiveness and feasibility, obtaining as a result the interest to participate in the activities, showing that most of them recognize the qualities of sound despite their early age, by using musical instruments they created simple sequences. Which allowed to prove that the continued use of this primer will bring benefits in auditory skills.
