Abstract
This study systematizes the non-formal educational experience in education for youth and adults (EPJA) with a gender focus of the Mujeres de Frente Organization, located in the city of Quito-Ecuador. The theoretical foundation includes Paulo Freire's popular education proposals as a socio-critical analysis in the EPJA, as well as the situation of international and national education. The methodology used in this study is qualitative in nature, the analysis of which is framed in the technique of systematization of experiences, which is why it uses qualitative research instruments such as participant observation, field diary, experience reconstruction sheet and semi-structured interviews. Among the main results is the representation of this non-formal experience as an educational and training alternative for women from popular sectors. It is concluded that the non-formal education experience of the Mujeres de Frente Organization strengthens collective action to include women in the educational field and society.
