Abstract
Considering that inclusive education plays a fundamental role nowadays and that all people have the right to access it under the necessary conditions, this work entitled “System of activities to stimulate gross motor skills in visually impaired students in the 3rd year of EGB from the “Claudio Neira Garzón” Specialized Educational Unit” was born. The objective was to propose a system of activities to stimulate gross motor skills in visually impaired children in the 3rd year of EGB. The research is developed from the elements of gross motor skills, such as laterality, body scheme, spatial and temporal orientation, general and visual-motor dynamic coordination and muscle tone. The methodology used was a single case study, with an interpretive paradigm. The work presents a proposal for action called a challenge in movement and is composed of 3 circuits with 5 stations each. The research concludes that gross motor skills are extremely necessary for students since it allows them to have autonomy and self-confidence, in addition to allowing them to have better academic and social performance.
