Abstract
The present Master Final work refers to: The theatrical performance as a technique for the development of oral expression in the second year students of the baccalaureate of the Educational Unit "Quevedo", has as general objective to apply strategies that take the students of baccalaureate to develop activities that promote safety in oral expression through the enjoyment of reading and staging of literary fragments. Innovative activities were established with strategies according to the proposed didactic unit, in addition, the results were obtained by evaluating using rubries before, during and after each event, adhering to the regulation and the LOEI of Ecuador. In the obtained results it is concluded that in this didactic unit the oral expression, staging, collaborative work gave positive results. In addition, reading, writing and spelling workshops are recommended.
