Operaciones con Fracciones. Aprendizaje Basado en la Resolución de Problemas (ABP)

Abstract

The following didactic unit that was applied to the students of the eighth grade of basic education, to obtain the Masters in Mathematical Education which was taught by the National University of Education and the University of Barcelona, has as main objective the study of the rational numbers in the form of fraction and decimal, applying the teaching-learning processes related to their study. It was possible to detect in its development, the difficulties that students have when performing operations and problems on fractions, for this reason I formulate a proposal for improvement in which students through various activities can work in the classroom, applying appropriate strategies that let them build their own knowledge.
