Abstract

The present Final Master's Project is about the study of the theme "The American settlement and the pre-Columbian great civilizations", whose main aim is for students to know the main characteristics of these towns and the contributions that they give to the current societies for the construction of his identity. For this purpose, a sequence of innovative activities was designed, which encourage the interaction of students, the construction of knowledge, cooperative, autonomous and reflective work. At the end of the implementation, positive results were obtained, since the students were able to know and differentiate the characteristics of each of the civilizations, as well as to understand the origin of many of the traditions and customs that are present in society. They also developed learning skills that facilitated and promoted their ability to communicate, critical thinking and social interaction. The work allows to improve the teaching practice and the educational quality.
