Abstract
This curricular integration work aims to improve the learning of reading for boys/girls in the fifth year of Basic General Education and arises from the difficulties identified, during pre-professional practices, in the subject of Language and Literature and seeks to provide support to students. teachers in the development of skills allow students to improve their reading skills. In this perspective, the following research question was raised: How to promote the learning process of reading, in the subject of Language and Literature, in the Juan Montalvo Educational Unit, in the fifth year "B" of Basic General Education? And as an objective of the research, it was determined to promote the learning process of reading in the students of the fifth B of the Educational Unit "Juan Montalvo", through the interactive virtual platforms "Liveworksheets and Árbol Abc", in the subject of Language and Literature. Regarding the research, the socio-critical paradigm was chosen and action research was designed. Similarly, it was decided to work with the qualitative methodological approach because it was considered more interesting for this type of research. In addition, the techniques used to collect information are observation, interview and questionnaire.
