Abstract
The purpose of this degree work is to strengthen the teaching-learning process of division with integers in 7th grade students of the Millennium Educational Unit "Francisco Febres Cordero" through the use of the blog as a recreational tool. The methodology applied responds to the qualitative approach and the socio-critical paradigm, through the application of various methods, techniques and research instruments, such as participant observation, field diaries, surveys, documentary analysis and diagnostic evaluation. Through the participant observation applied during the course of the pre-professional practices developed in the eighth and ninth cycles, it was evidenced that the students present difficulties in the area of Mathematics, specifically in the content of divisions with integers. The causes of these difficulties are due to several factors such as: lack of previous knowledge about multiplication; lack of relationship between operations; insufficiencies in the development of related skills, due, among other causes, to deficiencies in the application of the virtual modality. Closely related to other methods at the theoretical level, the research process led to the proposal of an interactive blog as a virtual environment tool based on recreational activities. The proposal was evaluated by experts in the area of mathematics and/or technologies in terms of its viability and relevance for the projected grade and level. As a result, the proposed alternative is considered relevant and viable to be applied. The observations and suggestions made by some experts were considered in the final presentation of the proposal.
