Práctica curricular y docente en modalidad virtual: una experiencia en el sexto de EGB, en Matemáticas, UE República del Ecuador abril 2020

Abstract
Professional teaching performance, among others, including actions performed inside or outside the classroom. During the period of confinement, there was a radical change in the teacher's activities. In this sense, the objective of the research is to describe the characteristics of curricular and teaching practice under the virtual modality during the confinement period in the sixth year of Basic General Education in the Mathematics area in "Republic of Ecuador" Educational Unit. To do this, a qualitative approach to base on the application of the case study method and the techniques of participating observation, interviews and documentary analysis. The teacher of the sixth of the year of BGE and the vice rector of educational institution participated. From the analysis of the information collected, it was determined that there were changes in the development of the plans, because not taking into account all the curricular elements. In addition, access and management of technology tools become a challenge in teaching practice, which makes it difficult the interaction and communication between teacher and student, as well as to provide feedback in the process of teaching and learning Mathematics in virtual mode.
