Abstract
In the pre- professional practices, the researchers observe and diagnose problems in reading comprehension in students of the fourth year of Basic General Education, parallel B. This problem results in low motivation and lack participation in the classes. The investigation of the theoretical and methodological bases is key, since it supports the points described in the work. The research starts from the interpretive paradigm due to the interaction between the subject of study and the researcher. The instruments and techniques applied facilitate the analysis and interpretation of relevant information, at the same time they sustain the project and that leads to the construction of a proposal. So, the objective is to propose a guide of playful activities based on the fable to improve the students reading comprehension. The proposal consists of fourteen activities that can be used both in the face-to-face and virtual modes, they are flexible activities. The validation of the proposal by the experts makes it possible to modify the aspects the provide greater efficiency and clarity. Finally, the proposal is considered a very valuable and interesting resource, since students learn interactively, enrich their knowledge and strengthen their skills.
