Abstract
The present research is based on the problem of the use of didactic resources for the work of the notions of quantity in the logical/mathematical relations area in infants from 4 to 5 years of age. The general objective was to design a booklet of activities based on Land Art as a didactic resource that contributes to the development of the basic notions of quantity (number-quantity) in infants from 4 to 5 years of age at CEI "Luis Cordero". For this purpose, theoretical references that approached the didactic resource from the constructivist paradigm of Piaget (1968) were systematized. Similarly, didactic resources were approached as a means to work in the Area of Logical/mathematical Relationships in Early Education from the concept of Avila and Lazo (2017). Also, their importance and function according to Esteves et al. (2018) and Vargas (2017). Likewise, the didactic resources from the Logical/mathematical Relationships Area for the work of the notions of quantity, according to the Early Education Curriculum 2014. Methodologically, the study was developed under the socio-critical paradigm, with a qualitative approach, field, design, and phases of the case study. Likewise, a categorization table with its subcategories and diagnostic indicators on the didactic resource was proposed, in which techniques such as participant observation, in-depth interview, and documentary review were designed and applied, accompanied by their instruments: observation guide, interview script, and documentary review form. In this way, the diagnostic information was analyzed, obtaining as a finding on the repetitive use of worksheets and videos for the teacher's work on the notions of quantity. Therefore, the educational intervention proposal "Land Art In Pre Math" was designed, and established by a booklet of learning activities. At the same time, through the pilot study, it was found that the activities were great pedagogical support for the teacher of the CEI "Luis Cordero". Finally, the study contributed to initial 2A, since it encouraged the reduction of the use of printable sheets and the use of Land Art.
