Abstract
The present degree work allows to improve, reflect and revalue the teaching work within the teaching-learning processes of the Language and Literature area at the Elementary sub-level of the Ramón Borrero school. In addition, this degree work offers a plan of methodological strategies to improve the teaching-learning process in the area of Language and Literature. To prepare the strategy plan, a characterization and identification of methodological strategies applied by teachers in the area of Language and Literature was developed, being traditional activities that require dynamism and new ways of teaching. The actions carried out by the manager with the teachers of the aforementioned area were also determined, and said role must guarantee compliance with the standards of educational quality in the execution of training activities and monitoring of professional development, so that the management of the school leadership is necessary to ensure the ongoing formation of the community. Afterwards, the methodological strategies in relation to Language and Literature of the Teaching Unit Plan (TUP) of the elementary sub-level teachers were analyzed, and the need to provide a plan of active methodological strategies to strengthen the area of Language and Literature in the Elementary sublevel of the Ramón Borrero school. And, based on this, a conceptual theoretical review of active strategies for Language and Literature was carried out, such as: the game, the narrative, the Project-Based Learning (PBL) and the Flipped Classroom.
